BackWPup is calling for a Product Manager who's equal parts strategic thinker, UX advocate, and hosting nerd 💡💻. You’ll lead the charge in building features that empower WordPress users to secure 600k+ websites. This is your chance to own the roadmap and ship the next generation of backup tools that will make the WordPress ecosystem a safer place.

What You Will Be Doing:
- Collaborate with product leaders and stakeholders to define the product vision and strategy.
- Define the product roadmap based on customer needs, hosting trends, and competitive analysis.
- Own the full product lifecycle, from discovery to launch, with a strong focus on data-driven decisions and high quality releases.
- Partnering with engineering, design, marketing and support teams to drive product-led growth (PLG), boost adoption, and increase customer lifetime value.
- Leading cross-functional planning to ensure on-time delivery and alignment across stakeholders.
- Conducting user research, gathering feedback, and analyzing usage data to inform product decisions.
- Build processes to deliver high quality releases in a stability-sensible sector and share best practices across the product organization.
- Implementing product analytics tools to track engagement, retention and feature adoption.
- Keeping abreast of changes in the hosting / backup industry and the WordPress ecosystem.
- Manage experiments and satellite plugins like Adminimize and Search & Replace.
What Do You Need To Excel at This Job:
- First successful product management experience, ideally with WordPress or hosting-related products.
- Proven track record of managing technical projects from concept to launch.
- Previous background in PLG strategies (self-service onboarding, free-to-paid conversion) is a plus.
- Understanding user needs in the hosting business and / or the WordPress community is appreciated.
- Data-driven decision-making mindset.
- Eager to progress and learn fast.
- Deep empathy for customer needs and a focus on real-world outcomes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with tools like Mixpanel, HubSpot, Jira, Figma, and product analytics platforms is a plus.
- Ready to work remotely, and ideally, located in a time zone between GMT+3 and GMT-5.
